This wine makes a solid argument that there is more to Portuguese white wine than Vinho Verde. It is a delight — one in which a viscous texture carries bright pear, golden apple, stone and lemon zest through a very long finish. That viscosity makes for a wine that is a nice alternative to its northern cousins’ crispy profiles. Contains 40% Verdelho, 30% Arinto and 30% Antão Vaz.
