Sometimes a sample gets buried in the stack of bottles waiting for review and misses its regular rotation. Such is the case with this fine Pinot Noir, a blend of the winery’s two estate vineyards. I’m it didn’t miss crossing my desk. It delivers a rich mix of red fruit and dry earth minerality on the nose and in the mouth, finishing with a gentle oak toast note joining the mix. Just a touch of new oak aging keeps the terroir aspects in the forefront from start to finish, and the result is a fine Oregon representative.
