Founded in 2003, Anthill Farms is a boutique producer focused on single-vineyard expression and based out of Healdsburg in Sonoma County, California. Comptche Ridge Vineyard is located in Mendocino County and is remote, surrounded by redwood and Douglas fir trees instead of other vineyards. This remote aspect actually lends to increased biodiversity in the vineyard and imparts complexity on the wine. Tart cranberry, wild strawberry, acai berry, crushed rocks, mushroom, and bramble notes intertwine in this wine’s bouquet and flavors.
