Appassionata, Willamette Valley (Oregon) Pinot Noir “Allegro” 2019 ($95)

From Erni Loosen’s classical-music-inspired collection, this Pinot is somewhat light in structure and leaning toward elegance with dark cherry flavors and a tangy finish. Although it has some notably fine attributes, the tannins seem a bit too assertive in relation to the fruit component.
