This Torrontés is an excellent summer wine choice. I found tropical fruit and textbook floral notes that jumped from the glass with the support of a mouthwatering acidity. Torrontés, an Argentinian white varietal, is a natural cross of Muscat of Alexandria and Criolla Chica. Valle de Cafayate is the closest Argentina has to a “Grand Cru” appellation for Torrontés and this wine, in particular, demonstrates that quality.
