Arthur and Ophélie Lelièvre launched their own Champagne label in 2021, opening a new chapter in their family’s storied legacy. As sixth-generation winemakers from Maison Forget-Chauvet, established in 1950, they grew up deeply connected to the vineyards and traditions of the region — yet are driven by a spirit of creativity and independence that defines their work today. Their cuvée Prémices cuvée is an expressive blend of 57% Pinot Meunier, 29% Pinot Noir, and 14% Chardonnay, offering a strikingly original interpretation of Ludes terroir. On the palate, it bursts with vivid red fruit and rhubarb, layered with brioche, chalky minerality, and refined tension. Each sip is crisp and bone dry yet enveloped in a richness of fruit and lively acidity that gives the impression of subtle sweetness. Distinctive, unconventional, and utterly captivating, Prémices represents a thrilling inaugural release.
