Ripe cherry and raspberry aromas start the festivities here, with cardamom and cinnamon adding accents. You would expect a nose like this to forebear a plush palate of ripe fruit, but there’s so much fresh acidity here that plush is something that will come only with extended bottle aging. It’s an outlier in my Oregon experience, but in a really satisfying way. Bravo!
