Battle Creek Cellars, Willamette Valley (Oregon) Pinot Noir 2018

 Here’s a classic Oregon expression of Pinot, one that shows bright dry earth notes above red fruit aromas, and all of it shows on the palate, with a little rhubarb pie vibe showing before the finish, where the dry earth pushes itself back to the foreground.  This seems built for duck confit.
