Beckman makes excellent Rhône blends. This one, a traditional blend of Grenache (50%), Syrah (25%), with the remainder split between Mourvèdre and Counoise, is packed with spiced fruit flavors without being overdone. Supple tannins give it structure and prevent it from being jammy. A good choice for wintry fare.
