Henri Lurton of Château Brane-Cantenac in Bordeaux started Bodegas Henri Lurton in 2015 with Lourdes Martinez Ojeda, who — after working for almost ten years at Château Brane-Cantenac — returned to her hometown of Ensenada to bridge the divide between France and Mexico. The link between France and Mexico creates an elegant, 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc, with a lot of complexity and natural freshness. Notes of grapefruit, lychee, and gooseberry hit every part of the mouth. This fruit is beautifully interwoven with delicate floral notes. A lingering finish serves as the encore.
