What’s not to like about a ten year old current release wine that shows both maturity and youthful freshness? That’s the package here, with lively cherry fruit, well folded oak spice that leans just a touch toward pepper, bright acidity and a supple grip with a little zesty bite on the end. It’s a delicious bargain worth seeking out.
