This is undeniably terrific Sauvignon, and when I write, “undeniably,” I mean that even the most hard-core Sancerre devotees could not fail to acknowledge its excellence. Wonderfully flavorful but still extremely fresh and vigorous (two years after the grapes were picked), it offers highly expressive aromas without turning pungent, and deep, lasting flavors that are substantial without becoming overbearing. Citrus, white melon and tropical fruit notes all appear in nice proportions, edged with lovely herbal accents. Killer wine. A Double Gold Award winner at the 2019 Toast of the Coast International Wine Competition.
