Cascina Baricchi’s Ça Va Sans Dire Timorasso 2016 is a remarkable wine from a tiny, high-elevation vineyard in the hills of Cacasco, planted in the 1950s. The palate is taut and vibrant, balancing notes of macerated orchard fruit and dried citrus with a striking spine of minerality and spice. Suggestions of hazelnut, chamomile, and saline limestone emerge as the wine opens, lending depth and complexity. Despite its maturity, it remains incredibly fresh and energetic, with a long, elegant finish. This is Timorasso at its most expressive — textural, contemplative, and full of life.
