Cattleya, Sonoma Coast (California) Chardonnay 2019

 Here is a plush, layered Chardonnay that doesn’t suffer from too much of anything – a common problem with Chardonnay.  The apple and pear fruit speaks clearly, complemented by soft wood toast and spice, and notes of quince and honey add depth.  It’s finely tuned and harmonious in the glass, and it’s a pleasure from start to finish.  Bibiana Gonzalez Rave is on a serious roll, and she has been for a while now.
