Chateau Souverain, California (United States) Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

 This is an impressive success in Cabernet at a remarkably low price.  With dark berry aromas and flavors predominating, and a meaty character to both the flavors and texture of the wine, this really satisfies expectations, but without exceeding tax season budgets.  Instantly recognizable as Cabernet, but with fruit in the foreground, this will serve equally well for pre-dinner sipping  or at the table.  A Double Gold Award Winner at the 2020 Toast of the Coast International Wine Competition.
