Opaque with a hint of green, this Sauvignon leans more toward apple and tangerine aromatics than in-your-face grassy, weedy aromas. Unlike most Kiwi Sauvignons from Marlborough, this Martinborough version stands out more for its rich, smooth mouthfeel than overt weedy-grassy varietal character. As a result, it is quite versatile. There’s ample acidity to hold it together leading to a long, citrus-lime finish.
