The winery’s “regular” offering offers a fine value here, with rich texture usually not available at this price point. That texture helps translate the black cherry and moderate oak toast aromatics into palate flavors that are bright and linger long. I’d lean toward fish or fowl as a pairing for this, but it will work with a top sirloin steak as well. As usual, well executed wine by Steve Rogstad and his team.
