Another 2021 that rings my bell, and at a nice price to boot. It is in this price range where there are some great finds for the vintage. That said, quantities are on the smaller side, so move quickly when you land on something that you like. The “Limited” line from Decoy (via Duckhorn) is a good place to look. This bottling is a spot-on representation of the down-the-middle Alexander Valley style, with a mix of black and red fruit, vanilla and soft oak spice on a plush mid-palate, and everything feels good from start to finish — a solid bargain. Contains 2% Merlot.
