Doffo Vineyards, Temecula Valley (Riverside County, California) Vermentino 2024 ($44)

Here is a nice, fresh, dry, all-purpose white that’s built for warm days, with bright lemon and stony mineral character that, though simple, is a thirst quencher you won’t regret having around. Pair with sunshine, creamy fish or chicken dishes, or mild to medium cheese. This grape has definitely found a home in the Temecula Valley, and this is one of the better examples to cross my desk. Delicious!
