Domaine Artefact, South Coast (San Diego County, California) “Les Beaux Blanc” 2023 ($44)

This starts out subtly on the nose but comes on strong as it warms in the glass, with white flowers, marmalade and papaya notes. The palate is even bolder than the aromas at present, with direct translation of the aromatic elements into bright flavors. A dash of herb character comes forward in the finish, adding some complexity and extending things nicely. This will sell out quickly! Contains 42% Viognier, 32% Grenache Blanc, 16% Roussanne and 10% Marsanne.
