I am seeing more Cabernet Franc from Argentina crossing my desk these days, and this example represents a fine value. It is unmistakably varietal, with cherry fruit and a dried herb character—but without overt green pepper character showing a well selected pick date. Give it a long decanting to blow off a little reductive character and pair with prime rib of beef with an herb crust.
