This offers delightful Syrah character on the lighter side of the spectrum for the grape, showing a mix of black and red fruit, a suggestion of meat, gentle pepper, and oak spice aromas and flavors. This is very enjoyable to drink now after a short decanting, and will reward drinkers who can add a few years of bottle aging. More than fairly priced, you can serve it with moderate strength cheese or a savory risotto dish.
