This shows lovely purity and freshness, though it also packs a lot of power and tannin (as is the case for most Gigondas releases from the low-yield but high-promise 2013 vintage). The intense fruit is edged with emerging leathery accents that suggest that this will become much more complex with additional time in bottle.
