Made by Vincent Rochette from the family’s 35 hectares of vines, this white brings together equal portions of Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Clairette, and Bourboulenc. Vincent represents the fifth generation of vineyard owners and before him the family sent the fruit to the local Co-op. In 1998 he established the Domaine, and has been farming biodynamically since 2006. This 2021 white was fermented and aged in stainless steel, with frequent lees stirring. Light yellow in color, it has an unusual aroma of figs, minerals and green apple, and on the palate, it comes across as delicate but balanced. Melon and apricot emerge as central flavors, and the mouthfeel is smooth and savory. It remains lively and refreshing through the finish.
