The wine of the vintage, the super incredible Dow’s has outdone itself. Drawn from some of Douro’s best vineyards, this effort is all one would ever want in a vintage port to put into the cellar. Bold and dramatic, shows loads of black fruit aromas and flavors; full bodied, with substantial grip, this well-balanced effort has plenty of sugar and tannin to keep together; a fine dusting of chalk in the finish. One for the cellar.
