Soft and serene rather than piercingly acidic, and fruit oriented rather than adhering to the green grass model of Sauvignon Blanc, Dry Creek’s Fumé Blanc is distinctively pleasant on the palate. Always a crowd pleaser, this is a great laid-back wine to share with friends, but it’s also a good choice to savor solo — just you and a glass of Fumé Blanc at the end of a hard day’s work.
