This wine took honors at the Monterey Wine Competition earlier this year, and a couple extra months in the bottle seems to have kicked things up a few additional notches. This is a beautifully balanced Marlborough expression, with nothing overtly crying for attention. A gentle floral nose draws you in to flavors enlivened by bright acidity that carries grapefruit, grass, gooseberry and stone minerality across a sexy midpalate where all the elements are distinct and fleshy, and the finish keeps the flavors pumping. Great work! A Platinum Award Winner at the 2020 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge.
