Ehlers Estate, St. Helena – Napa Valley (California) Cabernet Sauvignon “1886” 2021 ($160)

Bold notes of blackberry and cassis come through in the bouquet and palate of this serious wine, which is brimming with ripe fruits. Hints of cedar, nutmeg, and clove add complexity and structure. The tannins are present and well integrated. This Cabernet Sauvignon is already drinking well and will continue to do so for the next decade, and probably longer.
