Head winemaker José Luis Moreira da Silva, also known as Ze Luis, blends Bico Amarelo to represent the Vinho Verde region of northern Portugal without the usual fizz. He chose Alvarhino for concentration, complexity and more body on the palate, Louriero for aromatic intensity, freshness, acidity, and Avesso for volume and ripeness to balance the acidity. It is a winning combination with bright citrus aromas with a light floral note, light and lively in the mouth continuing the citrus theme with hints of stony minerals. It is light bodied with zesty acidity. Like classic Vinho Verde It is low in alcohol, so it is the perfect summer wine for a light lunch salad or sipping by the pool.
