Sonoma’s Fogline Vineyards has produced a solid Pinot Noir from this vineyard in the Petaluma Gap area. The aroma profile includes bright cherry and wild strawberry fruit with notes of damp earth, forest floor and cola. The palate shows structured acidity that props up a dry mix of red fruit, stems and oak spice that will continue to integrate over time. I’d age this wine for a couple of years and reap the benefits.
