The Lemberger grape tends toward the Beaujolais side of the spectrum to begin with, making a no oak version being a no-brainer of sorts. This should be on by the glass lists in every restaurant in America, just to show what’s possible in the world of red wine. And because it’s delicious. Black cherry, mixed berries, pepper, spice, acidity, length, integration, pleasure. It’s all here. What more do you want?
