A major player in the region, Garzón has an origin a story worth looking into, and I suspect you’ll agree after a taste of this wine. It was macerated for four to six hours before pressing, and spent 8 months fermenting in tulip shaped cement vats. You might guess that you have a non-malolactic aged Chardonnay in your glass if served blind. A rich texture combined with energetic acidity carries flavors of nut, tart stone fruit, lemon, and pear. It’s quite structured and should age well for several years.
