Vallee d’Aosta is located north of Piedmont and tucked into the mountainous region bordering France and Switzerland. Like many Vallee d’Aosta vineyards, the Grosjean family has been working their vineyards for multiple generations. Today, their organic and sustainable approach is a core principle in their winemaking process. Graphite minerality is this Pinot’s show-stealer, which is light in color but high in acid. Tart cranberry and wild strawberry supporting notes help provide clear structural flavors while the wine’s natural acidity, thanks to Vallee d’Aosta’s elevation, provides excellent structure. This is a fine, enjoy-now Pinot Noir.
