Handpicked is taking Pinot Gris seriously, blending lots from stainless steel, ceramic egg and neutral large format oak do drive complexity in the glass. Though the Peninsula is coastal, the varied landscape offers lots of sun exposure choices for vineyards, and wider than you’d expect diurnal temperature swings keep purity of flavor and aromatics. In this offering, acidity is singing, making for a crisp, bright and bone dry style. A bright lemon palate, plus an additional burst of mixed citrus in finish make this a great seafood partner.
