This Syrah comes from the coolest side of Paso Robles, where an amazing diurnal swing in temperature keeps acidity high and makes extremely long hang time possible in the vineyard. That was the case here, allowing the near 16% alcohol to work in balance with the fruit and winemaking choices. If you like ‘em big, it doesn’t get any bigger than this without flying apart. Well done! A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 Monterey International Wine Competition.
