This is a very successful blend of French and Spanish varieties that is comprised of 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Grenache, 25% Tempranillo, 18% Syrah, and 7% Graciano. The years since the fruit was picked in 2020 have benefitted this in terms of integration and maturation, and yet it retains terrific primary fruit and striking intensity on the palate. The fruit tones are mostly black but with some red shadings also, with interesting savory undertones and some lingering oak spice. This shows great linear drive in the flavors and a very long, symmetrical finish, and has years of additional positive development ahead of it.
