From the Paul Hobbs stable of wines, the brand name was founded in 2013 to honor his parents Joan Hillick and Edward Hobbs. I have a thing for great Riesling, and this certainly qualifies as a great example. It’s all about purity of fruit, showing apple and citrus complemented by floral tones and a stony streak that knits things together. A peach and apricot accent shows in the finish, giving this a wide range of pairing possibilities. It was a seafood and avocado salad with a spicy dressing.
