This delicious Napa Cab over-delivers for its $40 price tag, showing excellent aromatic complexity and a host of subtle flavor notes. An appealing (and classic) leafy scent gets this off to a great start, followed by dark fruit notes with no overt sweetness and admirably restrained oak. This isn’t a screamer, and those who love big, kick-down-the-door Cabs might be a little underwhelmed, but lovers of Bordeaux will adore this wine.
