A ten dollar wine (and that’s full retail) that can handle lots of situations. It’s great as a stand alone cocktail, and will pair well with all kinds of fare, from turkey to salmon to burgers and more. Bright mixed berries and cherry flood the nose and the palate, with good acid balance and alcohol low enough to make you want to crack a second bottle. It has a long rich finish that elevates the berry character with some sweet oak spice keeping things interesting. I’m buying this one!
