This is a bold take on the normally lighter hearted Italian grape variety Dolcetto, with lots of wood spice and grip riding in balance with the cherry and raspberry fruit. It all works well together and finishes strong. I would lean toward grilled beef, from burgers to slabs of steak when pairing. A Platinum Award winner at the 2020 Monterey International Wine Competition.
