It’s not every day that I get to taste a wine from the nation of Jordan. This Barbera shows a classic varietal nose of black cherry and blueberry offset by high toned powdery spice notes. The palate shows varietally typical acidity, and the oak choice adds some vanilla to the mix. Very enjoyable, and at a bargain price to boot. A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 Sommelier Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
