This refreshing South African Chenin Blanc evokes flavors of ripe peach, nectarine and pineapple, with a faint herbal hint on the finish. Having had no oak treatment, the wine is wonderfully fresh tasting. The fruit comes from some of the oldest Chenin Blanc vineyards in South Africa. Kaapzicht is a large estate (190 hectares, or more than 460 acres) and it has been run by four generations of the same family.
