There’s a reassuring, almost nostalgic, aspect to this Cabernet, with its light touch of herbaceousness and medium (as opposed to corpulent) body. The fruit, likewise, is held in judicious equilibrium rather than ostentatiously flexing its muscle. All in all this an excellent example of a relaxed, engaging California Cabernet, and it’s priced just right.
