Kind of Wild, whose wines are line-priced at $26, is the kind of winery that loves to talk about mission and journey as their new-age marketing lean-in to a younger clientele. They also were one of the first brands to get in on the organic and sustainability bandwagons before they got so crowded. A fairly typical Argentine Malbec, the wine itself has tart red-fruit flavors, is semi-aggressive on the palate as entry-level Malbecs tend to be (think: when was the last time you had a mellow Malbec?), and has a lot of drying tannins.
