The Cetto family was a pioneer and introduced many classic varieties to Baja which, in the early 1970s, included Chenin Blanc, along with Petite Sirah, Colombard, and Zinfandel. Since opening its winery in 1975, the Cetto name has earned international recognition, and Chenin Blanc remains one of its most successful wines. The 2020 is very pale yellow in color and exudes fresh melon and subtle mango aromas. A delicate medium-light bodied wine, it has a definite touch of residual sugar but supports it well with good youthful fruit and acid balance. A definite summertime sipper, it could also complement first courses featuring oysters and other shellfish.
