Admirably complex, with a delectable streak of sweetness braced by a bright beam of acidity, this is a Pinot that is at once alluring and refreshing. Expressive aromas and flavors of wild strawberries and ripe red cherries work beautifully with accent notes of toast, spices and vanilla. There’s a lot of oak influence in this wine, but the energy of the fruit is more than up to the challenge of counterbalancing it, and this will only get better as the fruit and wood become more tightly integrated with time. Platinum Award winner at Critics Challenge International Wine Competition.
