Neither quite "Old World" or "New World” in the parlance or stylistic sensibility of wine tasters, Lebanon might fit better in the category of "Old-Old World." This wine is a blend of the Lebanese varietal Obeïdi and French varietals Rolle, Clairette, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. It is already showing nice oxidative notes. I found bruised apple notes that balanced against a floral white bouquet. The complexity in this wine was excellent for a $20 bottle.
