Mending Wall is partnership between Thomas Rivers Brown, Frank Dotzler, Mark Pulido and Donna Walker – a Who’s Who of Napa Valley for sure. Together, they established Mending Wall, nestled on the eastern side of Silverado Trail between St. Helena and Calistoga. Their Mortar and Stone Red Blend – a masterful mix of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Charbono – opens with the vibrant, fruity notes of Zinfandel, unfolding into a rich tapestry of dark fruits including plum, macerated blackberry and fig reduction. Juicy and savory, it offers a well-rounded body with a subtle hint of leather and eucalyptus on the finish.
