Mirassou Sun, California (United States) Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

A terrific value, this performs very well based on interplay between fully ripe, slightly sweet fruit, soft tannins, and fresh acidity.  There’s a chance that it will develop additional complexities with time in bottle, but the smart money is on drinking this now with almost any moderately robust dish.  A Double Gold award winner at the 2017 Toast of the Coast Wine Competition.
