Navarro Vineyards, Anderson Valley (Mendocino County, California) Sauvignon Blanc “Cuvée 128” 2024 ($26)

This is delightful – a wine that will sit alongside the icons of California Sauvignon Blanc (Spottswoode, Merry Edwards) with nothing to apologize for including its significantly lower price. It is floral and melon on the nose, and it pivots on the palate to a more citrus driven style, with fresh grapefruit and lemon zest coming forward in the finish. It all lingers in heady fashion. I will be looking out for this. Riveting Sauvignon Blanc!
